Southwest Park is the newest addition to the Gibsonville Parks and Recreation family. This 513 acre property is owned by Guilford County in conjunction with Piedmont Triad Regional Water Authority and operated by the Town of Gibsonville. Visitors to Southwest Park are able to choose from a wide variety of outdoor experiences to enjoy. Our hiking trails, dog park, picnic shelters, playgrounds and open space afford people of all ages and interests the opportunity to participate in both active and passive recreation. On a visit to Southwest Park you will notice the grass is naturally higher and plants are not cut way back. You will also observe an abundance of bird houses and bird feeders.
